While still clearing work in the office, got a call from Kavitha asking if she could meet me during lunchtime for a chat at our "cosy corner" spot. I said ok but will be a bit late as i have some work to clear. Thot everything could be cleared by 1pm but too bad boss was still making last minute amendments. At ard 2pm, called Kavitha to tell her i'm still stuck in the office. she said its ok and to give her a ring when i'm abt to leave. I asked her if she could still meet me since lunchtime already over, she said its ok just chat for a while only. hmm..as i put down the phone and got back to work, i was thinking this is so unlike of her..hehe..we do meet up after work for drinks and such but to insist meeting up during her working hours just for a chat, i was thinking something must not be right somewhere. Is she having some probs that wasn't convenient for her to talk abt in the office? Was there someting she needed to talk to me abt urgently? some questions started going thru my mind, but finally i got the answer later :P. when we finally met at "cosy corner", she looked all happy and her cheerful self so that erased my earlier thots that something was wrong...then SURPRISE! SURPRISE! she hands a paperbag over to me and said "nah this is for u" . i was surprised and asked wats the occasion and she said it was an advanced birthday gift for me. Awwwwwwwww...i was so terharu and couldn't help laughing and ask her why so early, only after i unpacked the gift then she told me why. Inside it was 6 colourful tudungs and a purple brooch...gosh!! i was even more terharu. she was worried that i might have bought the same designs later so she decided to give it to me early and she was gushing abt how excited she was when she was shopping for the tudungs for me at geylang serai the day before...awww...so sweet rite.. thanks again kavitha :) i wore ur brooch to work today u know..hehe.
Met mommy in Simei after that coz she had a medical appt there and me need to buy cat food at Pet Safari. Baru je masuk pet safari, hp rang and it was one of my boss!! alamak ni yg tak best ni..she apologised for having to "disturb" me but had to call me coz the "big boss" was asking for something. Ish cik puan ni pon, when i was in the office tak nak cakap, when i left, dia buat kecoh plak. anyway told her the thing she was looking for is already in the system. went to tampines after that to run some errand there n bought some stuff and then off to mom's place. Gave Ani her belated bday prezzie and she was delighted, asking dad to have a look at it as well..hehe. one of my old buddy also dropped by at my parents place since she said long time since she last saw my parents. Left mom's place at ard 9pm and board the bus home..while in the bus, was quite stoink already. ngantuk giler. after the bus reach interchange, cannot tahan already so i took cab home from there instead of mrt. reach home salin baju sumer, nasib baik dah mandi pat my mom's place...so terus landing pat katil..zzzzz
Thats the end of my long-winded post for today..hehehe (still can't beat ros' latest super-long entry) :P
